What was the reason for joining the company?
While narrowing down my job search to companies in Mie Prefecture that are involved in manufacturing, I came across this company. I attended many other company briefings, but I still remember the HR's words that "work style reform is progressing to the extent that you can secure eight hours of sleep every day." It's quite a strong impact word, isn't it? (laughs)
What is your current job?
I am in charge of sales for press parts used in automobiles. Until I joined this company, my image of a sales position was about proposing products and services to generate sales, but the actual content is exactly the "manufacturing-related job" I hoped for during my student days. I receive inquiries from customers about the press parts they want to manufacture, and I work in tandem with the technical and manufacturing departments to consider whether we can produce them as requested, taking on the role of a liaison from creating estimates to prototype production to mass production. Additionally, even after mass production, I take the lead in addressing any irregularities that arise, serving as a long-term connection between the customer and the manufacturing site as long as we continue to produce that product.

About the sense of fulfillment
In situations such as during the COVID pandemic or natural disasters like typhoons, or when defects are discovered during the quality inspection stage before shipment, we report the situation and adjust delivery dates to avoid inconveniencing our customers. However, in such scenes, anxiety and tension can be palpable. Nevertheless, our basic principles of "customer first" and "integrity" are deeply ingrained in all employees, so everyone in the company, including the technical, manufacturing, and other management departments, comes together as one team to provide support. The sense of unity felt in such situations is reminiscent of working together with classmates during my school days to accomplish something, which connects to my own sense of fulfillment.

Regarding future goals
Our customers are professionals in manufacturing, and the engineers in our company are also very knowledgeable, so we still often encounter situations we are unfamiliar with or have not experienced, which can be challenging. Therefore, I want to become a person whom our customers can rely on, just like my seniors.
