Electrification Initiatives

Until now, the mainstream of automobiles has been gasoline engine vehicles, but there is a movement to "reduce gasoline engine vehicles to zero by 2035" in various parts of the world. There is no doubt that the spread of hybrid vehicles (HVs), electric vehicles (EVs), and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) will accelerate further in the future. Therefore, we are also working on the development of automotive battery parts in collaboration with related companies, and are promoting research and development of battery cases to realize miniaturization and weight reduction.

Contribution to autonomous driving

The practical application of Level 4 will accelerate, and the installation of autonomous driving technology in production vehicles will expand in the future. In order to realize safe and comfortable autonomous driving, in-vehicle sensors for detecting the condition of the vehicle around the vehicle are very important. We are working on the development and manufacture of brackets for installing such sensors in a predetermined position and at the required angle.

Taking on the challenge of "deepening" existing technologies

While lightweight and compact automobile parts are required, for example, in the case of presses, we pursue 3N (no cracking, no slippage, no burrs) technology to satisfy strength and rigidity while reducing volume. In response to the environmental theme of "Zero Carbon" (reduction of CO2 emissions), we are also seeking clean technologies to reduce CO2 emissions in surface treatment and welding. We contribute to reducing CO2 emissions not only from automobiles but also in the manufacturing process and preventing global warming.

Non-automotive
vehicle, development of (Mobility)

With a declining birthrate and an aging population, improved convenience, and hygiene considerations, it is expected that autonomous driving of vehicles other than automobiles will advance in the future. In response to these developments, TRIX has established a technical research institute to promote research so that the experience, technology, and know-how cultivated in the automotive industry can be utilized in fields other than automotive.

Proposal of module parts for
new vehicle configuration

CASE( Connected / Autonomous / Shared&Services / Electric )As the provision of new value for these automobiles progresses, the modular parts that make up vehicles are also changing drastically. While we are already working on some of these technologies such as "automatic position confirmation," "external recognition (vehicle surroundings)," "driver confirmation," "vehicle control," "vehicle equipment," and "electric power," we will continue to propose module parts that support the new value and functions required of automobiles.
